A leading company in the fast-moving consumer goods industry embarked on a strategic initiative to overhaul its supplier transportation processes. This transformation necessitated a complete revamp of the existing ERP system to align with the operational needs and realities of both companies involved.
AdvanceWorks was entrusted with the critical role of overseeing, controlling and reporting ongoing activities, as well as identifying risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Collaboration
A diverse team of 12 individuals, composed by business analysts, project managers, PMO’s, testers and developers, was assembled for this challenge. A dedicated professional from AdvanceWorks, acting as PMO, was responsible for overseeing project timelines, risk identification and dependency management to ensure project execution.

Results
Phase 1 of the project concluded successfully, marked by the integration of two interconnected interfaces. These interfaces are now fully operational and capable of efficient communication between systems, laying the foundation for enhanced supply chain management.
Next Steps
Moving forward, the focus will be on continuous improvement of the ERP platform. Phase 2 will incorporate user training sessions to familiarize stakeholders with the new system and ensure its easy adoption. Additionally, quality assurance measures will be implemented to validate the system’s performance and accuracy. Business rules will be defined and integrated to increase user experience and ensure the platform is accurate and user-friendly.
