In collaboration with a Belgian Health Insurance company AdvanceWorks transformed document indexing to significantly decrease processing time.

This use case explores how AdvanceWorks, in collaboration with a prominent Belgian Health Insurance company serving over 4 million customers, led a transformative initiative to facilitate the document indexing process. Team Collaboration

The team composed by 8 professionals, including 2 AdvanceWorks developers, collaborated to pilot the development efforts. With AdvanceWorks responsible for leading the technical team, the interdisciplinary team was focused on delivering a comprehensive web application that, not only enabled digital document indexation, but also set the stage for future improvements, architectural advancements and new features.

The impact of the initiative was profound, particularly in reducing the time spent on indexing documents. The process, once manual and time-consuming, was streamlined to a remarkable 2 seconds. This massive improvement not only expedited operations but also freed up valuable time for collaborators. With the newfound efficiency, collaborators can redirect their focus towards more strategic and value-added tasks, ultimately contributing to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the organization.

Next Steps

User feedback and iteration are essential components of our strategy. We gather user feedback to fine-tune the web application, ensuring it aligns perfectly with user needs.

Continued evolutionary maintenance is a priority. We regularly update and enhance the web application to accommodate changing requirements and technological advancements.

We aim to expand digital transformation initiatives across various facets of our operations. This exploration fosters a culture of innovation and efficiency within the insurance company.
